Earworm follows hands, mouths and faces gathering around the ear. A whisper, a touch or a small adjustment creates an intimate circuit in the middle of public space.
The ear is both receptive and exposed. It receives language without returning a gaze, allowing one person to enter another’s attention while the surrounding street remains visible. The photographs hold care, secrecy, persuasion and intrusion within gestures that can look nearly identical.
Across repeated encounters, the series asks how private communication becomes public theater. What is said remains unavailable. What the camera records is the relation itself: proximity, permission and the brief redistribution of attention between bodies.
