Description
Visitors to Arashiyama Bamboo Grove can walk through the grove along a designated pathway, which is shaded by the bamboo trees. The grove is open to visitors year-round and is free to enter. It is particularly beautiful in the early morning or late afternoon when the sunlight filters through the bamboo leaves. Other nearby attractions include Tenryuji Temple, Togetsukyo Bridge, and various shops and restaurants. The grove is easily accessible by train or bus from central Kyoto.
