How to obtain a license

If you are interested in purchasing a license, to use my images or other content, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact me via email at adaminglis.licensing@gmail.com 
    with the subject line: “Licensing Request.”
  2. Specify the image, article or asset you are interested in, along with the intended use.
  3. You will receive a response with either a straightforward quote or, for more complicated inquiries, a request for a call to go over further details on the licensing process.

Types of licenses available

  1. Editorial use license
    This license applies to images and assets used for journalistic purposes. You may use them in blogs, articles, and other editorial contexts. However, further licensing is required for any commercial use.
  2. Commercial use license
    This license is available for businesses and organizations wishing to use an image or asset for promotional or commercial purposes. It allows the use of images and assets in advertising campaigns, promotional content, websites, and other commercial materials.
    • Please Note: Most images are not available for commercial use. Images captured in public with identifiable subjects are generally restricted from commercial licensing.
  3. Extended license
    For those needing unlimited usage rights, including the ability to create merchandise or resell, please contact me directly for extended licensing options.

Usage restrictions

  • No reselling or redistribution: You may not resell, redistribute, or make the images and assets available for download or print-on-demand services without explicit permission.
  • No alteration without permission: Modifying images and assets (such as editing or creating derivative works) requires prior written approval.

Frequently asked questions

  • Can I use any of the images or assets for free?
    No, all images, articles, copy and assets are copyright protected. Using them commercially or without permission outside of fair use is strictly prohibited and may lead to legal action.
  • Do you offer exclusive rights?
    Exclusive rights are available on a case-by-case basis. Please contact me for more information.
